DiSEqC switches: select between satellite feeds
What is a DiSEqC switch for?
A compatible DiSEqC switch lets a satellite receiver select between LNB feeds, for example when receiving two orbital positions. The receiver sends control commands to choose the required input.
2/1, 4/1 and protocols
A 2/1 switch usually has two inputs and one output. Check supported DiSEqC commands, port assignments and system compatibility. Not every switch is suitable for cascading or motor control.
Installation and troubleshooting
Assign the correct port to each satellite in the receiver menu. Check coaxial connections, LNB power requirements and weather protection. A terrestrial input is available only on models that explicitly provide one.
