English Unicable LNBs: multiple tuners on one cable
How does Unicable work?
Unicable uses assigned user bands (UBs) to serve multiple compatible satellite tuners over a shared coaxial cable. The supported number of tuners depends on the specific LNB model and available user bands.
Standards and legacy outputs
Check receiver compatibility with EN 50494 (SCR) and EN 50607 (JESS/dCSS). Some LNBs include conventional legacy outputs; others do not. Never assume a feature is present without checking the product specification.
Planning and setup
Each tuner needs its own supported user band and frequency. Splitters, wall outlets, power supply and cable loss must suit the system. Configure the matching settings in each receiver.
